Job summary

Exactitude Resourcing Limited is seeking an accounts semi-senior to join the team and support the accounts and outsourcing function. The role contributes directly to growth and involves handling statutory accounts and various tax work.

Ideal candidates will have practice experience (4+ years), be studying towards or qualified in AAT/ACCA/ICAEW, and thrive in a busy, multifaceted environment with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Practice experience, ideally 4+ years.
• Studying towards AAT, ACCA or ICAEW or already qualified (Study Support available).
• Able to work in a fast paced environment during busy periods; multitasking is essential.
• Good understanding of VAT, PAYE/NIC, Accounts, Tax and Bookkeeping.

• Preparation of FRS102, 102 1a & 105 accounts
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Assisting the accounts team in ad-hoc tasks
• Assisting the outsourcing team during busy periods

The Opportunity

My client who are an independent and friendly firm of accountants are seeking an accounts semi-senior to join the team to assist the accounts and outsourcing team. This is an important role that will contribute directly to growth in the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of FRS102, 102 1a & 105 accounts
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Assisting the accounts team in ad-hoc tasks
• Assisting the outsourcing team during busy periods

Essential Experience & Skills

• Practice experience, ideally 4+ years
• Ideally studying towards AAT, ACCA or ICAEW or already qualified (Study Support available)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment during busy periods, multi-tasking ability is essential
• Candidates with a very good level of understanding of all aspects of an accounting practice i.e. VAT, PAYE/NIC, Accounts, Tax, Bookkeeping would stand out as a strong contender for the role
