Job summary

Xeinadin in Dudley is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior to join our Dudley team. You will support a varied client portfolio, develop technical accounting and tax skills, and work with senior colleagues across accounts and taxation services.

We welcome candidates studying AAT or ACA/ACCA, with practice experience and familiarity with Xero and Sage. The role offers hybrid work, competitive benefits, and opportunities for progression in a growing firm.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).
• Experience in preparing accounts within a practice environment.
• Familiar with Xero and Sage; CCH experience is advantageous.
• Experience in preparing corporation tax computations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year end and management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting company tax compliance.
• Liaising with clients to request and manage information efficiently.
• Ensuring files are completed accurately and delivered to deadlines.
• Supporting senior team members and managers with client work and ad hoc assignments.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Recording chargeable time accurately and supporting billing processes.
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Are you currently studying towards your AAT or ACA/ACCA qualification, or already building your experience within practice? Join our Dudley team as an Accounts Semi-Senior where you'll support a varied portfolio of clients, develop your technical expertise, and work closely with experienced professionals across accounts and taxation services.

Key Requirements

• AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).
• Experienced in preparing accounts within a practice environment.
• Familiar with accounting software including Xero and Sage; experience with CCH would be advantageous.
• Experienced in preparing corporation tax computations.
