Numero Recruitment is working with one of the region’s leading independent practice accounting firms, which are looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join their team in Croydon. The firm is renowned for client service and works across various industry sectors including:

• Manufacturing
• Energy
• Logistics
• Retail
• Professional Services

The firm promotes from within and supports further study for ACA or ACCA exams.

The Role:

• Assist in preparing statutory accounts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders at review stage.
• Assist in preparing management accounts and VAT returns.
• Work within budgets set during planning; understand their importance and communicate effectively to meet them.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and proactive client service.
• Use software packages effectively internally and support clients’ accounting systems.
• Draft tax computations.
• Prepare VAT returns, providing a hands-on compliance role.

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience.
• Previous experience working in a practice accounting firm.
• Positive attitude towards client service and desire to qualify fully as an accountant.
