Accounts Technician / Accounts Semi Senior Job Opportunity in Barnstaple – Join a Leading Regional Chartered Accountancy Firm!

Our client, a prominent regional firm of Chartered Accountants located in Barnstaple, is seeking an experienced Accounts Technician or Accounts Semi Senior to join their dynamic Accounts department. This role offers flexible working hours and hybrid working options, providing a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders up to the audit threshold.

Compile personal and corporate tax computations and returns.

Deliver bookkeeping and management accounting services to clients.

Handle filing of documents with Companies House and HMRC.

Maintain and update accounting records for a variety of clients.

Manage the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Perform general administrative tasks to support partners, managers, and office operations.

Candidate Requirements:

AAT Qualified, Part Qualified, or QBE Accountant with experience in an accountancy practice.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and bookkeeping.

Location:
