Job summary

eps.group services is recruiting an Accounts Semi-Senior for a friendly practices in Aylesbury. You will prepare accounts, VAT and tax returns, work on bookkeeping and advisory support while developing your technical skills through study and mentoring.

With 2-3 years of practice experience and studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA, you’ll be confident with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, have strong Excel skills and be well-organised. The role offers progression and study support.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA.
• Confident with cloud software: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Well-organised, reliable and keen to develop.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare VAT returns and personal tax returns to review level.
• Complete bookkeeping assignments across cloud software.
• Keep accurate records, reconciliations and client files.
• Support seniors and managers and respond to client queries.
• Manage your own workload to hit deadlines and budgets.

What you'll bring
