Job summary

Avena Environmental is seeking an Accounts Receivable Executive to join our growing finance function and drive operational excellence. You will manage invoices, terminations, pricing updates, and CRM tasks while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling bank statements daily, raising credit notes, and supporting the Credit Controller. A meticulous, collaborative candidate with strong Excel and Xero skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts receivable processes and month-end tasks.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Experience with accounting software, ideally Xero.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• Intermediate Excel.
• Strong numeracy and computer literacy.
• Excellent written communication.
• Good understanding of accounting practices.
• Experience with accounting software, ideally Xero.

Desirable:

• Experience in a similar finance role.
• Experience with automated accounting systems and online banking.
• Industry‑relevant qualifications or working towards AAT.
