What you'll do

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

  • Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
  • Updating the cashbook daily and performing bank reconciliations
  • Preparing bank lodgements and direct debit files
  • Issuing invoices, credit notes, and customer statements
  • Monitoring and following up on outstanding customer balances
  • Resolving discrepancies and reconciling customer accounts
  • Maintaining records of all payment and credit communications
  • Setting up new customers and maintaining the customer master file
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures
  • Providing flexible support with other duties as required
About you

If you have previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or Sales Ledger Assistant, and possess:

  • Strong accounts administration experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Strong team-working skills
