Job summary

Huntress is recruiting an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join the finance team in Glasgow on a temporary six-month contract. The role focuses on processing invoices, applying payments, and chasing outstanding balances in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, sales ledger or credit control, strong numerical and data-entry skills, and be proficient with Excel. This hybrid, full-time position offers hourly pay of £16.24–£17.06.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, sales ledger or credit control.
• Strong numerical and data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Processing and raising sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Allocating incoming customer payments to accounts.
• Chasing outstanding payments and monitoring aged debt.
• Investigating and resolving customer billing and payment queries.
• Reconciling customer accounts and maintaining accurate records.
• Processing credit notes and account adjustments where required.
• Updating customer account information within internal systems.
• Assisting with month-end activities and reporting.
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative duties.
