Overview

Accounts Receivable Accountant – Luxury Lifestyle House

Head Office – Central London

9 month Fixed Term Contract – Immediate start

Key Responsibilities
  • Support end‑to‑end accounts receivable responsibilities for the E‑Commerce and Boutique stores business areas.
  • Perform monthly and annual closing activities, including monthly reconciliation of receivables balance sheet ledger accounts and annual write‑off of aged balances.
  • Prepare schedules and reconciliations for the year‑end statutory audit.
  • Manage general receivables responsibilities, including daily sales reconciliation, daily bank reconciliation, monitoring and follow‑up of customer balances (credit notes, gift cards and deposits) and store settlement differences.
Requirements
  • Experience of accounts receivable processes within a medium to large organisation, ideally within a retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and implement efficiencies within accounts receivable.
  • Great Excel skills, including knowledge of Excel formulas to manipulate large data sets and complete and present analysis.
  • Ideally a background in double entry accounting and understanding of accounting principles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient user of SAP; knowledge of Cegid beneficial but not essential.
Offering
  • Salary up to £45,000 basic, depending on experience.
  • Lunch and Travel in addition to basic salary.
