Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced Purchase Ledger and Accounts Assistant for a role in Burton-on-Trent!

You will support the finance department with day-to-day tasks, including:

  1. Managing purchase and sales ledger activities
  2. Overseeing account management processes
  3. Assisting with payroll administration

Duration: This role offers ongoing work with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £12.82 per hour, equivalent to an annual salary of approximately £25,000.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, around 08:00-16:30. Hours are variable, and the company is willing to accommodate those seeking school hours.

Experience & Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • Own transport, as commuting by public transport may be challenging given the location and shift times
  • At least one year’s experience in an accounts or finance role
