Job summary

JMD Investments & Estates in Nuneaton is seeking an organised Accounts & Payroll Assistant to manage day-to-day finance and payroll activities, support accurate reporting, and help run accounting processes. The successful candidate will be fully proficient in Sage, with Xero experience desirable.

Payroll for ~6 salaried staff and ~15 self-employed caretakers, plus ledgers, invoices and service charge work, are key duties in this varied role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll using Sage for approx. 6 salaried employees.
• Manage payroll for ~15 self-employed caretakers, including overtime, expenses and bonus payments.
• Maintain the sales and purchase ledgers; process supplier invoices.
• Carry out quarterly service charge billing and assist with budgets.
• Manage credit control and debt collection; produce aged debt reports.
• Perform regular bank reconciliation and produce monthly Sage reports.
