Description

  • Supervise the purchase ledger team, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
  • Monitor and manage supplier accounts, resolving any discrepancies or queries promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of payment runs and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on ledger performance.
  • Support the team with training and development to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A Successful Purchase Ledger Team Leader Should Have

  • Proven experience in managing a purchase ledger or accounts assistant role
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and relevant software.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
