Michael Page are recruiting an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their team in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, on a permanent basis. You will lead a hands-on Purchase Ledger function and manage day-to-day AP activities.

• Manage and lead the accounts payable team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain controls to ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice or payment queries.
• Prepare reports and analysis on accounts payable activities for management.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.
• Ensure supplier relationships are managed effectively.

• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
