About us

About the role

This role is responsible for the direct people management of accounts payable analysts as well as ensuring timely and accurate payments of relevant suppliers.

This role is responsible for managing the weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring team’s supplier statements are reconciled in line with expected payment dates, and ensuring inbound queries are managed and responded to in line with SLAs.

You will be:

  • Responsible for the direct people leadership of accounts payable analysts
  • Responsible for implementing, supporting, and delivering accounts payable strategy
  • Managing all aspects of transactional processing within accounts payable team
  • Driving productivity and delivering services in line with KPIs
  • Working closely with Accounts Payable Manager to identify process improvements and drive best practice
  • Being the senior escalation point in the event of unresolved or complex issues
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to monitor performance and resolve issues impacting productivity and accuracy
  • Recognising and communicating any risks and issues with the team, management, and key stakeholders
  • Coaching, training, developing, and motivating the team
