Salary £26,000 to £30,000 per year Plus Benefits

Are you a skilled Accounts Payable Team Leader based near Knowsley, looking to earn between £26,000 and £30,000 per year?

Your Role:

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Accounts Payable (AP) team
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices
• Lead and develop a team of AP Associates, fostering a high-performance culture
• Ensure all AP functions comply with company policies and financial regulations
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve billing issues
• Drive process improvements within the AP function
• Monitor AP ageing reports and manage supplier communications and escalations.
• Apply strong leadership skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Utilise a solid understanding of accounting principles to support financial stability
• Handle large volumes of data using Excel - intermediate Excel skills required

What We Need from You.

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English
• Strong Excel & MS Office skills
• Accounts payable & accounting software experience
• Understanding of finance transactions
• Office-based experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, time management & attention to detail
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
• Team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused and committed to high standards
• Supervisory experience (desirable)
