Accounts Payable Team Leader
£32,000 - £37,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Hybrid

Location: Bath, UK (Hybrid working: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote)

Role Overview: In this role, you will manage a team of Finance Assistants, oversee invoicing, and support monthly financial reporting. Your leadership will drive operational excellence within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the daily activities of a team of Finance Assistants.
2. Oversee invoicing for projects, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
3. Perform project-related housekeeping tasks within project planning and finance systems.
4. Prepare and process month-end accruals and prepayments.
5. Issue Work In Progress (WIP) balances to Project Directors.
6. Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required to support the team and business needs.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience in a finance team leadership role (e.g., Accounts Team Lead, Accounts Payable Team Lead, Purchase Ledger Supervisor).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload effectively.
• Proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel (PivotTables and formulas are a plus).
• Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with non-finance stakeholders.

In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary between £32-37k plus excellent benefits. The role offers hybrid working: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
