Job summary

Eaton Syalon is recruiting an Accounts Payable Team Leader in Derbyshire to manage a small AP team and ensure accurate processing of invoices and VAT coding. This hybrid role blends leadership with hands-on AP responsibilities to drive efficiencies and changes within the function.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of three, handle supplier relationships, and ensure KPIs are met. Derbyshire location, hybrid working, up to £35,000 salary.

Qualifications

• Strong Accounts Payable knowledge and experience.
• Understanding of end-to-end AP process.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting a team of 3 direct reports.
• Processing of invoices and credit notes across multiple units.
• Ensure VAT and General Ledger coding is correct.
• Overseeing CIS requirements and payment runs across units.
• Complete online payment submissions and monitor KPIs.
• Respond to supplier queries and maintain AP documentation.
• Conduct regular 1-to-1s and annual performance reviews.
