Job summary

University of Cambridge is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join the Finance Team in the Department of Engineering’s Finance Office at the Trumpington Street site. You will oversee five Finance Clerks and provide direct accounting support to ensure accurate processing of transactions and efficient financial administration.

The role requires strong numeracy, analytical ability and excellent communication skills, with prior experience in a busy finance environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least A Level or equivalent; AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma or studying for it.
• Highly numerate and analytical with strong communication skills.
• Experience in a busy financial or administrative function within a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee five Finance Clerks in the Finance Office.
• Provide direct accounting support and process accounting transactions.
• Support department finances and timely reporting.
