Accounts Payable Supervisor

Are you an experienced finance professional ready to lead and make an impact? We're seeking a driven and passionate Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Finance Team and manage the end-to-end AP process. In this role, you'll oversee key activities like PO management, invoice processing, payment runs, supplier statements, and month-end reporting, ensuring a seamless and efficient service.

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you'll lead a great team, setting clear performance and quality standards to maintain high service levels. Reporting into the Group AP & AR Finance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the success of our department.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Fridays 8:30 - 16:00, who doesn't love an early finish on a Friday?!

Your Duties Will Include:

1. Team Management & Training - Lead and develop a team of seven Accounts Payable Clerks, providing training and guidance
2. 1-2-1 Support & Performance Management - Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support development and manage performance where necessary
3. KPI Reporting - Track and report key performance indicators to drive efficiency
4. Query Resolution - Handle and resolve supplier and internal queries effectively
5. Aged Creditors & Debit Balance Reviews - Ensure timely review and reconciliation of accounts
6. Invoice Processing - Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices
7. PO Raising & Management - Manage purchase orders to support procurement
8. Supplier Set-Up & Amendments - Process and review new and amended supplier requests
9. Supplier Statement Reconciliations - Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately
10. Process Improvements - Identify and implement improvements to AP workflows
