Job summary

A boutique Real Estate Investment firm is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to independently manage the accounts payable function. Responsibilities include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budget preparation. The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of relevant experience, particularly within investment management or real estate.

• 5-7+ years experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience running AP function from start to finish.
• Experience with Funds AP.

The chance to join a boutique Real Estate Investment firm as their sole Accounts Payable person running the entire function as you see fit.

The Role: Accounts Payable Specialist

The Location: London City Centre (5 days in office)

The Role:

• Process all specified department supplier invoices in accordance with company policies
• Reconcile all relevant accounts payable
• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts, proactively following up on overdue invoices
• Processing all specified finance department fee invoices
• Monitor & manage outstanding fee accounts
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and cashflow forecasting
• Getting involved in several projects, assisting & developing for new department processes

Prior Experience:

• 5-7+ years experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience running the AP function from start to finish in prior roles (ideally for a smaller firm)
• Experience with Funds AP
• Prior experience within Investment Management or Real Estate Funds
• Strong communication skills and attention detail.
