Job summary

Blusource Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a 3 to 6 month temporary assignment based near Lincoln. You will manage day-to-day supplier invoicing in a busy finance environment and support the wider team as needed.

The role requires substantial hands-on accounts payable experience, accuracy, and the ability to work independently during a busy period. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on accounts payable or purchase ledger experience.
• The confidence to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues.
• Immediate or short-notice availability.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day accounts payable and purchase ledger function.
• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Responding to supplier queries and liaising with internal departments.
• Supporting payment processes and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assisting with external audit requests and providing supporting documentation.
• Helping the finance team manage increased workloads during a particularly busy period.
