Job summary

KVH Media Group in Leeds is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join the Finance team. You will handle purchase ledger tasks, ensuring timely supplier payments and accurate reconciliation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has prior accounts payable exposure, can work under pressure, and communicate effectively with senior management. This role supports a dynamic, collaborative finance department based in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant Accounts Payable experience is preferred.
• Experience working with Sage 200 would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all purchase ledger balances are accurately recorded
• Ensure that all suppliers are paid in a timely manner
• Reconcile high volume accounts payable balances to supplier statements and rectify differences
• Solve queries relating to invoices, credit notes and payments
• Process Purchase Orders
• Process payments via different bank accounts
• Provide cover for the duties performed by other members of the accounts department as may be required
• Proactively suggest and implement improvements to the accounts department procedures
