Job summary

MarcDaniels is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a long-term contract in the UK. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to a Dynamics 365 upgrade, including testing and data transfers.

Candidates should have significant AP experience in a busy, volume-driven environment and be comfortable with multi-currency processing and supplier statement reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Experience with system upgrades or changes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-currency supplier invoices and reconcile statements.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and verify non-PO invoices.
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs and post supplier journals.
• Ensure adjustments are correctly posted to the general ledger.
• Support testing and data transfers during the Dynamics 365 upgrade project.

They are now seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist as they seek to make further advancements by way of a system upgrade to Dynamics 365 (D365), no prior experience of this system is necessary though.

If you have significant accounts payable experience in a busy and volume driven environment then this could be just the move you are looking for. They are offering a minimum term of 6 months but that will likely extend. They also offer hybrid working and a fantastic team culture.

Responsibilities

• Multi-currency invoice processing
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Matching invoices to PO’s
• Ensure non-PO invoices are verified and approved
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs
• Post supplier payment journals
• Ensure necessary adjustments are accurately posted to the general ledger
• Chance to get involved with the D365 project, including testing and data transfers

About You

If you are an experienced accounts payable professional and are happy to commit to a long-term contract then Someone who has previously been involved in a system change or upgrade would also be advantageous.
