Job summary

A boutique real estate investment manager is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to handle supplier invoices, account reconciliation, and process management. The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, particularly in investment management or real estate funds, and is proficient in Microsoft Excel. This role is based in London City Centre, with a requirement to work 5 days in the office.

• Experience running the AP function from start to finish.
• Experience with Funds AP.

Overview

The Role: Accounts Payable Specialist

The Client: Boutique Real Estate Investment Manager

The Location: London City Centre (5 days in office)

Responsibilities

• Process all specified department supplier invoices in accordance with company policies
• Reconcile all relevant accounts payable
• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts, proactively following up on overdue invoices
• Processing all specified finance department fee invoices
• Monitor & manage outstanding fee accounts
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and cashflow forecasting
• Getting involved in several projects, assisting & developing for new department processes

Prior Experience

• 5-7+ years experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience running the AP function from start to finish in prior roles (ideally for a smaller firm)
• Experience with Funds AP
• Prior experience within Investment Management or Real Estate Funds
• Strong Microsoft skills (Excel, Word etc)
• Strong communication skills and attention detail.
