About the Accounts Payable & Receivables Specialist role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our Finance team. You will be instrumental in managing accounts payable and receivable processes for the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Day to day, this means ensuring accurate and timely processing of revenue invoicing and payment transactions, supporting the end to end processes required for billing, collections and payments. You’ll also assist in the month end close process by preparing accounts payable reconciliations and accruals, provide input into cash reporting and be responsible for supplier management where needed. We’ll also look for you to spot opportunities to improve processes to enhance efficiencies and accuracy.

About you

• Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field, with accounting technician qualifications desirable
• Experience in managing accounts payable and / or accounts receivable within the EMEA region
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and best practice related to AP and AR
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Language skills – fluent in both German and English (or at least B2 level in both)
• Proficiency in financial software and systems and strong MS Excel skills
• This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in our office in our Berkhamsted office
