Job Description:
The Role

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Associate to join our established finance department. You will have experience working with volume within an SME and relevant Accounts Payable and Receivable experience. You will proactively manage a large volume of invoices and supplier correspondences with accuracy and speed, as well as assist with Accounts Receivable and weekly bank reconciliations.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities
  • Monitoring of key Accounts Payable inboxes and responding to queries
  • Processing purchase invoices and credit notes for both central and international expenses
  • Ensuring invoices are correctly authorised
  • Performing reconciliations of supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing supplier accounts for timely payments
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Liaising with relevant teams to resolve queries
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities
  • Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process
  • Conducting credit checks on new customers
  • Creating new customer accounts on Microsoft Navision
  • Reviewing and issuing sales invoices, credit memos, and statements
  • Managing debt collection
  • Reviewing aged receivables and recommending corrective actions
  • Resolving queries from high-volume AR inbox
Other Administrative Tasks
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Managing corporate card expenses
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Supporting month-end reporting and creditor reconciliations
The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in purchase ledger
  • Experience in retail/ecommerce (desirable)
  • Experience in multicurrency environment (helpful but not essential)
  • Flexible working patterns
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliability, self-discipline, speed, and accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
