Accounts Payable Manager (Purchase Ledger)

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a well-established company based in Brighton. This role involves overseeing the purchase ledger function and team on a hybrid, fixed-term contract basis.

Location: Hybrid working, 3 days in the Brighton office

Salary: Up to £40K

Duration: 6-month FTC

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the purchase ledger department and team
  2. Monitor and process invoices
  3. Perform reconciliations
  4. Review and improve purchase ledger processes and systems
  5. Handle payment runs
  6. Produce and monitor reports, including cash flow
  7. Support budget and audit processes related to accounts payable
  8. Manage month-end closing procedures and reconcile purchase ledger accounts
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • People management experience
