Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Salary: Circa £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Contract: Full time / 37 hrs a week / Fixed Term Contract for 9 months

Location: Peterborough

Introduction

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and impactful organization? We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join us on a 9-month fixed term contract. You will be central to our financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments to our suppliers, which is crucial for maintaining smooth business operations and supporting our mission to promote environmental and social prosperity in our region.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, monitor, evaluate, and report AP metrics to the business.
• Build positive relationships with vendors and customers, handling escalated queries.
• Drive process improvements and cost efficiencies in accounts payable.
• Produce monthly and weekly reports related to payments and reconciliations.
• Support and collaborate with team members and key stakeholders.
• Provide expertise in procure-to-pay processes, including invoice processing, managing aged creditors, handling SAP issues, and conducting audits.
• Attend stakeholder meetings and ensure timely completion of GRNS (Goods Received Not Invoiced).

Candidate Profile

• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• Good IT literacy, including experience with SAP.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and influence others.
