Job Description:
  • My client in Whiteley is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager.

About Our Client

My client is a specialist financial services business operating across 9 different sites throughout Europe and the US, with this particular role based at their Whiteley site.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of supplier invoice processing and payments for the Group.
  • Oversee the payment of suppliers and employee expenses.
  • Review and process employee cash and credit card expenses, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Manage the supplier database, including onboarding and ongoing management.
  • Provide timely and quality accounts payable query resolution for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the Accounts Payable team, including performance management, development, and mentoring, ensuring standardization of processes.
  • Deliver Accounts Payable metrics and reporting, including payment practices and internal MI.
  • Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met and exceeded.
  • Support and train staff across the Group regarding Accounts Payable processes.
  • Support Accounts Payable projects and reporting, including the implementation of Workday Financials.
The Successful Candidate

Applicants should have led Accounts Payable teams in a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience, including team performance and development. People management skills are essential, with experience managing a team of 3 or more staff. Excellent communication skills are required to manage stakeholders effectively.
