Job description

Totum Partners is working with a leading law firm to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. You will lead a team of five, manage the Accounts Payable function, and oversee timely and accurate invoice processing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the Accounts Payable team, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Improve and manage the purchase-to-pay process.
  • Maintain strong controls and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other teams to improve workflows.
  • Monitor performance and implement best practices.
  • Manage the Emburse system.
  • Support and develop team members.
  • Liaise with auditors on Accounts Payable matters.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience leading accounts payable or finance teams within professional services (essential).
  • Understands purchase-to-pay processes and invoice automation.
  • Is familiar with Chrome River or similar systems.
  • Is skilled in driving process improvements.
  • Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Is detail-oriented with solid analytical abilities.
  • Has proven experience managing and developing teams.
