Job Description

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department.
• Monitor and analyse department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Address discrepancies and issues with accounts payable to ensure accuracy.
• Provide accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; respond to financial questions/concerns by creating and presenting various accounting reports.
• Ensure that all financial deadlines regarding accounts payable are met for month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closings.
• Work closely with the company's auditors to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve and streamline processes.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful when applying for this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.
