Job description

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with a fantastic business in Bradford as they look to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager on a permanent basis. This is a key role within the business, suiting a technical AP professional who can not only lead the team, but also offer effective strategic input, working across multiple projects ensuring all aspects of the ledger are completed to a high standard.

Reporting into the financial operations director, duties will include:

  • Leading an onsite team of 4 and overseas team of 15 ensuring all processes are completed in a timely manner
  • Manage, mentor and train in any areas of improvement deemed necessary
  • Ensure supplier payments are made in a timely manner
  • Oversee bank and credit card reconciliations, resolving disputes, working cohesively with the operations team
  • Improve tasks and systems, thinking outside the box offering invaluable ideas and advice
  • Preparing and reviewing of all KPIs in relation to the AP function, ensuring SLAs are prepared and met
  • Overseeing and responsible for the month-end close of the AP function with analysis and reporting for the management accounts team
  • Ensure timely completion of cash allocations to meet deadlines
  • Work collaboratively for the annual audit process
  • Offering continuous improvements for the internal systems and processes
This is a fantastic opportunity for a savvy and experience AP Supervisor / Manager to join a growing and profitable business. there will be occasional travel to their HO in the South with hybrid working available.

Salary will pay in the region of £45,000 - £50,000 + benefits.
