Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced finance specialist in Nottingham to provide expert Procure to Pay support and advice across departments.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams, driving efficient processes while ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and master data management. The role supports flexible working options within a permanent, full-time framework.

Qualifications

• Evidence of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a transactional finance environment as part of Procure to Pay.
• Ability to use ICT systems including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook; familiarity with Oracle ERP.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable practices and statutory requirements.
• Ability to update policy or processes clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support colleagues and Departments in a specialised Procure to Pay area.
• Pro-actively form close relationships with suppliers, customers and service areas.
• Support the Customer Service and Master Data Team Leader and FSC Team Manager.
