Job summary

A leading finance partner in Glasgow is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy team in a hybrid working environment. This role requires extensive experience in accounts payable with responsibilities including processing transactions, preparing payment runs, and performing bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will possess enthusiasm, attention to detail, and basic Excel skills. In-office training is required for the first six months, with flexible working arrangements thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Process AP transactions promptly and accurately.
  • Prepare bi-monthly Payment Runs and bank reconciliations.
  • Ad hoc financial reports and support for the finance team.

Accounts Payable Clerk : Glasgow Centre : Hybrid Working

Salary : £27,000 - £29,000

Wilkinson and Associates are excited to be partnering with one of our key clientson the search for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their busy finance team.

Experience Required :

  • AP transactions processed promptly and accurately
  • Direct Debit and other bank transactions processed promptly and accurately
  • Prepare bi-monthly Payment Runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Process monthly company credit card payments
  • Process monthly phone bills
  • Process Petty Cash transactions
  • Record and track business rates
  • Prepare Accruals
  • Ad hoc reports for Finance Director
  • Ad hoc support for Wider Finance team and business
  • Ad hoc response to supplier queries

In order to be considered for this opportunity you must come with extensive Accounts Payable experience. Your work ethic must comprise of enthusiasm , resilience , team work and strong attention to detail. Basic excel skills are required.

Hybrid Working :

2 days WFH and 3 days office based – for training purposes you will be required in the office for the first 6 months.
