Job summary

Quantexa is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our busy finance team. You will ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time, manage invoices, and support data integrity across multi-currency payments.

The role suits detail-oriented, proactive individuals with strong Excel skills, experience in AP, and good communication, capable of working in a fast-paced, growth-focused tech company. You’ll work with NetSuite and other P2P tools, participate in month-end close, and help optimise

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts Payable or similar transactional finance role.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, positive, collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy, ensuring correct coding and authorisation.
• Performing three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Preparing and processing weekly payment runs for multiple currencies and entities.
• Acting as a primary point of contact for supplier queries, resolving issues professionally.
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Assisting the AP team with month-end close procedures and accruals.
• Championing Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system usage across the business.

The Opportunity.

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be a vital part of the team that keeps our financial engine running smoothly. You will be responsible for ensuring our suppliers are paid accurately and on time, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting the integrity of our financial data. What You’ll Be Doing.

• Championing best practices by encouraging the use of our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems across the business.

What You’ll Bring.

• Experience: You have previous experience working in an Accounts Payable or a similar transactional finance role.
• Attention to Detail: You have meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Organisational Skills: You are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A Proactive Mindset: You are a proactive, positive, and collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills.
• Communication: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Systems: You are proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience working within a high-growth tech or SaaS company.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like NetSuite and spend management tools like Navan or Expensify.
