Job Description

Accounts Payable Assistant responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of vendor management including invoice processing and payment.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in the monthly close process.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and classified correctly.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to improve processes and controls.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations.
• Support the Accounting & Finance Department with other duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
