Accounts Payable and Receivable Co-Ordinator

Position: Accounts Payable and Receivable Co-Ordinator

Location: Labman HQ, Seamer, North Yorkshire

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (based on experience)

Labman is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive Accounts Payable and Receivable Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic team at our globally recognized and multi-award-winning company. Headquartered in North Yorkshire, we specialize in designing and manufacturing bespoke laboratory automation systems and products for a diverse range of industries worldwide.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Accurately process a high volume of invoices
  • Ensure timely payments to suppliers
  • Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions for suppliers and customers
  • Coding and entering employee credit card expenses accurately
  • Create and issue sales invoices and credit notes
  • Allocate payments and investigate discrepancies
  • Proactively follow up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, and letters
  • Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks
  • Assist in system development and process improvements

You will bring:

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar software is advantageous but not essential
  • AAT qualification would be beneficial
