About the Job

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers and managing the entire accounts payable (AP) process. This role involves various tasks such as processing invoices, compliance with internal control policies, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the team in timely reporting of results to management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely payments to suppliers.
• Perform supplier ledger reconciliations and obtain balance confirmations (monthly, quarterly, or annually).
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies, guidelines, and practices.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., banks, vendors, departments) as required.
• Support and guide the functional team on purchase order (PO) and payment policy and processes.
• Handle internal and international intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and schedules for assigned accounts to ensure integrity and validation.
• Provide support in internal and external audits.

Is This You?

• 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance (particularly in accounts payable)
• Experience with multi-currency payments preferred
• Strong process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines effectively, prioritize work tasks, and handle a dynamic work environment.
• Analytical skills with the ability to draw insightful conclusions.
• Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment

This role is based out of our Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) in Woking (around 25 minutes by train from London Waterloo) and a minimum of 1 day per week in the RSC is required, plus occasional other days for team or market meetings.
