Accounts Payable Administrator

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months

Location: Lutterworth - LE17 4XN
Hybrid role - must be able to commute to the office 3 days a week

About DHL

DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business, is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator. This role is vital to our Finance team, focusing on process adherence and improvements. Our finance specialists add value by understanding data and supporting informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage PO requests and purchasing queries from site, BU, and functional stakeholders, professionally and within SLAs.
  2. Ensure accurate PO cost reporting, house-keeping, invoice, and supplier management, complying with DHL policies and procedures.
  3. Support centralized procurement management for categories like IT, Telecoms, and Capex.
  4. Optimize purchasing services for stakeholders, collaborating with PCO as needed.
  5. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and work flexibly to meet service objectives.
Candidate Requirements

We welcome applications from candidates with:

  1. Strong financial background, numerate and aware of financial principles.
  2. Effective communication skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and proactively.
  4. Analytical skills.
  5. Experience in purchasing.
  6. Part-qualified accountant or studying AAT (desirable).
  7. Experience with Oracle iProcurement and Fujitsu (desirable).
