Accounts Payable Administrator - Part Time

We are seeking an experienced finance administrator to join our team in a part-time role, providing support to the Accounts Payable function. This is a busy role that will see you working across all areas of the business. The hours are 24 per week, with flexibility; Tuesday and Wednesday are preferred in the working week.

At Oxford Instruments, we enable the world’s leading industrial companies and scientific research communities to image, analyse and manipulate materials down to the atomic and molecular level.

The opportunity

In this role you will work as part of a dynamic finance team supporting two of Oxford Instruments’ business units. The responsibilities include the accurate posting of invoices, ensuring supplier invoices are approved and paid on time, setting up new vendors, reconciling statements and resolving any queries.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have a good level of numeracy, as well as previous experience of working in a finance role. It is essential that you have strong administration and organisational skills, together with excellent attention to detail. You will be comfortable dealing with people by telephone, email or in person, as well as working at pace. You will also have a high level of IT literacy, including experience of using Excel.
