Job summary

Attega Group Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Payable professional for a Pontefract-based role. The position involves processing supplier invoices, maintaining supplier accounts, and ensuring accuracy across the ledger. Immediate availability is preferred for a temporary to permanent arrangement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Processing invoices, matching supplier invoices to purchase orders, and identifying discrepancies.
• Producing weekly aged supplier reports, submitting payment requests, and monitoring outstanding payment requests.
• Reconciling supplier statements and accounts monthly, investigating differences between supplier statements and company's purchase ledger.
• Supporting with month-end, preparing accrual calculations for goods and services.
• Offering general finance support.

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable to join their team.

The main purpose of this Accounts Payable role is to take ownership for the processing of supplier invoices and the maintenance of supplier accounts.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £17.43 per hour, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and temporary to permanent. The hours of work will be 37.5 per week Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing invoices, matching supplier invoices to purchase orders, and identifying discrepancies.
• Producing weekly aged supplier reports, submitting payment requests, and monitoring outstanding payment requests.
• Reconciling supplier statements and accounts monthly, investigating differences between supplier statements and company's purchase ledger,
• Supporting with month-end, preparing accrual calculations for goods and services,
• Offering general finance support.

The ideal candidate:

• Must have previous accounts payable or purchase ledger experience
