Job summary

RG Consultancy near Trafford is seeking an experienced accounts professional to join a friendly, supportive team. You will take ownership of all accounts operations, including ledgers, payroll, VAT, and reconciliations, with scope to work closely with external accountants on month-end and year-end closes.

The role emphasizes attention to detail and strong Excel skills, with a flexible working environment, pension, life assurance, and ongoing bonus opportunities.

• Strong knowledge of transnational accounts purchase and sales ledgers.
• Experience with CIS - dealing with subcontractors is extremely desirable.

• Ledger management - Purchase & Sales ledgers
• Processing weekly payroll
• VAT Returns
• Bank and nominal ledger reconciliations
• HMRC preparation
• Assisting the external accountants with month end and year end closes
• Invoice and statement posting
• Credit control
• CIS - Supplier and subcontractor payment runs
• Posting company expenses / posting credit card receipts
• Managing costs for general office supplies
• Any adhoc duties

Reporting to the Directors, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys real ownership managing of all accounts operations and processes whether your an experienced Accounts Manager or someone who is ready for that new step in a new role.
