Job summary

A growing global business is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract in Bolton. In this role, you will lead a finance team, manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, and provide financial reporting and analysis. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in finance management and familiarity with tools like Sage or QuickBooks.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a similar Finance Manager role.
  • Previous experience managing a team.
  • Good working knowledge of Sage and/or QuickBooks.
  • Excellent analytical / Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail in a regulated environment.

Overview

Are you a detail orientated Finance Manager available for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract in the Bolton area? Do you want to lead a fantastic, motivated Finance team, whilst supporting on a number of exciting projects? Read on for this great opportunity with a growing global business in the Bolton area!

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a small team, providing training and support when needed
  • Oversee all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes including invoices, payments and collections
  • Assume responsibility for month-end reconciliation and reporting
  • Prepare financial reports for the management team and monitor / manage cash flow
  • Drive efficiencies for the business through the implementation of process improvements
  • Provide support with audits and compliance
  • Play a key role in upcoming projects within the business
Ideal skills and experience
  • Proven track record in a similar Finance Manager role, overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Previous experience managing a team with a collaborative and supportive leadership style
  • Good working knowledge of Sage and/or QuickBooks
  • Excellent analytical / Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA (advantageous)
