Job description

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their forward-thinking organisation based in Inverness. Working closely with the FC, this hands-on role will involve leading and developing a team of 4-5 staff to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Duties will include:

  1. Monitoring Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger processes
  2. Preparing and reviewing management accounts and financial reports
  3. Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency
  4. Collaborating with other departments to support budgeting and business objectives
  5. Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
  6. Liaising with external auditors and supporting with audit preparation
  7. Covering team members during absences and busy periods

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience within a similar role
  • Be willing to get involved in a hands-on role and possess a proactive attitude
  • Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
