Qualifications

• Experience in year-end accounting for directors and MDs.
• Knowledge of statutory accounts and FRS 102 1A.

Responsibilities

• Manage year-end accounts for Directors/MDs; plan, prepare Excel working papers, reconcile balance sheets.
• Prepare statutory accounts for Ltds/LLPs; include partnerships and sole traders.
• Liaise with internal teams and client account teams to resolve year-end queries and policy issues.
• Prepare draft corporation tax computations; assist with VAT returns.
• Handle company secretarial tasks including confirmation statements and formations.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff; provide technical guidance to bookkeepers and semi-seniors.
• Assist with management accounts; maintain client database and cash flow forecasts.
