Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Accounts Manager to join my client’s well-established and successful accountancy firm based near West Malling.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Supervision of a small team
2. Attending client meetings in order to develop strong relationships
3. Production of management accounts, year-end accounts, VAT returns
4. Assisting with the tax return compliance process
5. Analysing financial reports to identify any trends, issues and improvements
6. Supporting with any Companies House or Inland Revenue queries

The successful candidate:

• Must have experience working in an accountancy practice
• Be ACCA / ACA qualified
• Will have working knowledge of corporation and personal tax
• Will possess excellent communication, organisational and attention to detail skills
• Be an ambitious individual, willing to grow with the business
