Are you an experienced Client Manager or Senior Manager seeking a new challenge with a leading practice in Staffordshire?

Specialist Public Practice recruiters, Clark Wood, are currently working with a highly progressive and well-renowned firm of accountants in Stafford. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an ACA or ACCA Qualified Business Services (non-audit) Accounts Manager. This role offers genuine progression to Director level for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, predominantly owner-managed businesses.
• Ensure all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently for clients within your designated portfolio.
• Focus on the preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax returns, with most clients having turnovers near the audit threshold.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified
• Significant experience in an Accounts and Tax focused role within a client-facing environment.
• Proven exposure to a range of clients, particularly within the SME and OMB markets.
• Excellent understanding of Cloud Accounting.
• Experience in staff and client management.
