A leading company based in Ringwood is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager on a part-time basis. This role involves managing ledgers, payroll, and supporting the finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage 50 Accounts and intermediate Excel skills, along with a desire to work within a dynamic and varied role.

Location: Ringwood

Salary: £35k per annum pro rata, based on 7.5 hours working day

Hours:c 3 days pw with a least one day in the office, WFH the other days. Training/handover will be fully office based.

Aspire Jobs are working exclusively with our client who are based in Ringwood and support a global business.Due to retirement, they are now looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to work on a part time basis as part of the Accounts Team, reporting to the Finance Director.

This Accounts Manager role would suit someone who:-

  • Is self motivated
  • Likes a varied role
  • Must have Sage 50 Accounts experience
  • Can run a monthly payroll (training will be provided)
  • Is ideally AAT qualified to trial balance
  • Has good Excel experience – intermediate level
  • Is willing to work to a tight schedule at the beginning of every month

Job Duties

  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger, including credit control
  • Weekly bank reconciliations and payments schedule update
  • Monthly UK VAT return
  • Monthly payroll for four employees
  • Month end accruals, prepayments, depreciation, stock journals
  • Support Management Accountant for monthly Management Accounts
  • Liaise with IT support for any IT changes required and support other team members with IT issues
  • General office duties (post, purchasing stationery)
