Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and conscientious accounts manager for a role with a 5m turnover manufacturer in the Holbeck area of Leeds.

Our client operates on Xero, and knowledge of using the software would be highly advantageous.

Main duties of the role include:

  1. Produce and analyse monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  2. Ensure financial records, reconciliations and journal entries are accurate and complete.
  3. Provide information and recommendations to the management team to support commercial decisions.
  4. Manage debtors and creditors, ensuring receivables are collected on time and payables are controlled.
  5. Prepare and submit VAT returns as required.
  6. Create annual budgets and forecasts, monitor against budget and forecast, and identify variances.
  7. Manage payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and deductions.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
