An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Coordinator to provide support to the finance and management teams. This role involves performing day-to-day accounting activities to ensure the accuracy of financial data, effective cashflow management, and smooth running of general ledger, sales ledger, and purchase ledger functions. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high standards within the Finance Team during a period of business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Recording and posting financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Preparing and posting cost of sales journals and other routine accounting entries.
  • Reviewing and reporting on gross margins and other financial performance indicators.
  • Producing weekly cashflow forecasts to support planning and decision-making.
  • Completing bank reconciliations for both domestic and foreign currency accounts.
  • Preparing monthly reports on cost variances and distributing to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining well-organised and up-to-date electronic filing of all finance documentation.
  • Ensuring all transactions and reconciliations are completed within month-end deadlines.
  • Providing support to the sales and purchase ledger teams.
  • Assisting with the preparation of information for external audit and other reporting requirements.
